Quizzes were online, family and friends communicated via Facetime and working from home was the new normal. Well, not in the Hill household. With the arrival of their first child in February, Adam & Sharna decided a little more madness in their life was needed – enter 1950’s rusting horsebox.

Over the summer of 2020, they relied on friends and contractors to help them design and fabricate their first horsebox in preparation for a pre-planned event in November. Adam, through his day job, managed to secure a pitch at a local Christmas Tree farm serving hot chocolate, coffee and festive treats to their customers as its first outing as a commercial unit. With over 30 kilos of hot chocolate, 200 cakes and more than 4,000 drinks sold, it was a huge success. This event was for Croft Christmas Trees near Darlington and 2022 marks our third year with them. They must have liked us!

Since then, the box has been retro fitted with a draught bar system and wifi making it the perfect solution for private events and celebrations. 2023 marks the third year of business for the family and with a growing portfolio of events pre-booked, new developments are on the horizon – watch this space!
